However, both vacant and occupied home staging consultations include recommendations for the interior and exterior of your home. Both include an evaluation of your home with buyers in mind, and recommendations for change that will insure that your home appeals to many buyers. Following our initial consultation, we can help you as little, or as much, as you want to implement our recommendations. We will recommend independent contractors (cleaning services, painters, packers & movers, storage facilities, carpet and tile installers, just to name a few) to complete work that you choose not to do yourself. If we don’t have experience with the type of contractor you need, we’ll do our best to help get references and referrals from our network of local contacts.
Vacant Home Staging
Many buyers have difficulty visualizing the potential of an unfurnished home because emotionally they don’t connect with empty rooms, like they do with a nicely furnished and accessorized rooms.
That’s why, in order to earn top dollar and sell your home more quickly, staging a vacant home is important! Vacant home staging includes an initial walk thru staging consultation resulting in a design proposal including a cost estimate. Upon your acceptance of the proposal, rental furnishing and accessories will be selected, and delivery scheduled. Sanibel Home Staging will be at your home on delivery day to direct furniture and accessory placement, and hang art. When we’re done, your home will be picture perfect, ready for great real estate photos to be taken! When your home sells, we’ll be back to oversee furniture, art and accessory removal.
Occupied Home Staging
It can be difficult to live in your home while you are trying to get it sold. Maintaining your home in showing condition day in and day out can be a lot of work.
The initial walk thru staging consultation of our occupied home staging service includes a few tips and tricks to make your life easier during the selling process. We will make recommendations for home repairs that need to be made as well as cleaning, de-personalizing, de-cluttering and neutralizing. Recommendations for furniture arrangements to maximize your space and improve traffic flow will also be provided. And if needed, we’ll provide color recommendations for paint.
Rental Property Staging
Because we are located in an island community, many homes and condos are bought and sold, to be used as income/rental property.
