May is a wonderful month to be on Sanibel! The weather has been almost perfect for the last week; temps in the low 80’s, low humidity, and a beautiful gulf breeze. The traffic and activity that comes with seasonal residents and guests are gone, and the leisurely island pace has emerged. Today on our morning bike ride, Henri and I had the shared path almost to ourselves – one rollerblader, three joggers and a half-dozen bikers were all we saw during our East-end tour. If you aren’t here, you should be!
Speaking of Henri, as you can see by the photos, he loves being on Sanibel in May. In fact, he’s “taking time to smell the roses” which is something we all should do! And there is no place better to do that, than Sanibel and Captiva!
Many things influence the sale of a property, including the location, the asking price, the local and global economy, the quantity and quality of the marketing of the property, and of course the curb appeal, and move-in readiness. Staging can help with the last three!

Appealing color palettes, and well placed furniture and accessories that accentuate the best features of your home/condo will provide better photos for buyers to view in their online search. Great photos influence a buyer’s decision to consider/tour your home!
With Memorial Day and the end of the school year just around the corner, summer visitors will begin arriving soon. Some of those visitors will fall in love with Sanibel and Captiva, the same way many of us have, and decide they want to buy a home or condo, to spend more time here.
